Angel Olsen is an American music producer and singer-songwriter hailing who hails from St. Louis, Missouri who resides in Asheville North Carolina. So far, Olsen has made six studio albums available: Half Way Home Burn Your Fire for No Witness My Woman All Mirrors Whole New Mess, and Big Time. I believe that my mom has a special capacity to love children. The parents of her adopted daughter at age 3 and cared for from birth. I was more interested in the childhood of my parents because we're separated by a long time. Olsen made it public on social media that she was gay at the beginning of 2021. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in coffee bars in the city during her teens. She soon began expanding her repertoire and gaining access to a network of like-minded artists. The singer-songwriter moved from Missouri to Chicago in 2006 to work alongside California artist Emmett Kelly as part of his band The Cairo Gang. All Mirrors, her previous album from 2019, featured Dark gothic-synthrock and a series of forays in orchestral pop. Big Time is the first moment that Olsen sings consciously about her homosexual desires. The album is her first foray into country and a more traditional-driven genre. In some ways, it does make sense.
